The next few weeks will be busier than usual with two General Assemblies happening this month. First, Volt Europa is having their General Assembly this weekend in Prague. And on 23 October Volt Belgium will have its Autumn General Assembly in Leuven. In this newsletter you will find everything you need to know to attend and participate at the GAs!

Can I participate remotely? Yes! The link for the stream will be shared shortly by the European team before the General Assembly.

How can I vote? If you have been a legal member of Volt Europa before 8 September, you should have received an email to your volteuropa inbox on 8 September with the subject "Convening Notice General Assembly 8/9 October - Volt Europa" with your individualised voting token. If you think you can't find your voting token, do not hesitate to make a ticket by emailing help@volteuropa.org.

Can I participate remotely? Yes! The link for the stream will be shared by the us closer to the General Assembly.

How can I vote? If you have been a legal member of Volt Europa before 23 September, you will receive an email to your volteuropa inbox on 8 October with the subject "Convening Notice General Assembly 23 October - Volt Belgium" with your individualised voting token. If you do not receive your voting token, do not hesitate to make a ticket by emailing secgen@voltbelgium.org.

What's on the agenda?

On the agenda are many exciting points, among which are: Presentation and approval of the 2023 Budget and the 2024 Electoral Strategy; Statutory Amendments to improve our internal governance; Election of Secretary Generals, Volt Values Board as well as the Electoral Board.

The official agenda and accompanying documents will be sent to Volt Belgium's legal members on 8 October. In the meantime, we will keep you updated with more info on our website.

You are very much invited to attend the General Assemblies in Prague of Volt Europa and Volt Belgium in Leuven, be it in person or remotely. General Assemblies are great opportunities to get to know Volt better.

In the case you are a Volter living in Belgium but a member of a national Volt chapter other than Volt Belgium, that allows double membership, you may also apply for Belgian membership by sending an email to secgen@voltbelgium.org.
